The Typology Ingredient Ban List is among the strictest on the market, surpassing the 1300+ ingredients that are already restricted in the European Union. All formulations are vegan and over 80% naturally derived.

The result is 24 skin typologies that address the industry gap and pinpoint concerns with precision. We reject the idea that “one product fits all” and instead investigate the right ingredients for each skin typology.

We go further, however, rejecting many ingredients that are legally authorized, in order to ensure the absolute safety of our formulations. Typology has one of the strictest ingredient ban lists across the industry. Learn more about our formulation charter here.

Our in-house Research & Development team and laboratory are based in the 11th arrondissement of Paris. We work with partner laboratories in Bergerac, Aix en Provence, and Compiègne to achieve the highest quality and effectiveness of our products.

When we use plastic, we do so responsibly. In 2022, we reached 100% post-consumer recycled plastic, a goal that was initially set for 2025.
